The choir’s repertoire is strictly ‘non choral’, as Worcester is already very well served by classical choirs. We cover everything from Queen to Elvis, from Musical Theatre to Michael Bublè, and whatever we do, we do it with an attitude!

 

 

Voices Unlimited is a ‘choir with a difference’ in that it includes an educational element as part of its membership package. Our members have regular tune ups (pardon the pun!) with the choir’s Musical Director, Ria Keen, who is one of the U.K.’s leading vocal educators as well as being a hugely experienced professional singer, arranger, producer and all-round bossy boots! When Ria and choir manager Anne Bradshaw founded the choir, they had no idea that it would grow into the juggernaut that it has become!

“We just can’t believe the enthusiasm that our members show for this choir”, said Anne recently. Certainly, that enthusiasm shows in the sound that the choir produces, which is always uplifting, joyful and hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck raising! No-one who hears this choir walks away disappointed - it’s an incredible sound that really has to be heard to be believed.

 

 

 

 

 

Since its inception in September 2008, the Voices Unlimited Contemporary Choir has established itself as one of Worcester’s finest vocal groups - if you can call 110 people a ‘group’ - more like rent-a-crowd!

 

 

The choir performs to professional backing tracks rather than the traditional piano accompaniment, which allows us to bring a full orchestral sound to our performances.
